Why do you play football?
I play football because of the team aspect. I don’t play football for myself, but for my brothers beside me. I also know that it’s the same for them too. I also play because I love to compete. It just gets you pumped up when you and the guy lined up in front of you want it as much as you do.
Since you’re now committed, are you preparing for the season any differently
If I were committed to a college I would have worked just as hard as I would’ve if I wasn’t.
Why did you commit early?
Haven’t committed yet.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Sidney Crosby is my favorite player because I’ve grown up watching him as a kid. Also him being the captain of the team is a great leadership role to look up to.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
When I made a one handed catch. It was an exciting moment for me and my quarterback after the play.
What was last years season like for you?
It was a great season because I played with determination and drive every game. Also the teams brotherhood was great last year.
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals for this upcoming season is to really let loose and play with passion. I also want to get above 50 catches with 1000 yards receiving this year.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Karter Shrock
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
When the Seahawks played the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
What would you do to improve the recruiting process?
Get in contact with coaches more and putting myself out there.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
A teammate who is determined, hardworking, and had discipline while being selfless.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Football is a sport that teaches you great life skills. It teaches you how to work with people and become disciple in what you do.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to kick a field goal.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
I want to be like my gram because she pushed her self so hard in life even at the lowest lows.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drill is probably the box drill. My least favorite is mesh drill.
Preseason Two a Days are:
a struggle at the end of the week.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My grandma was someone who was always there for me and would be at every game no matter what.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I love to fish and golf. I think both of these activities are very peaceful and get you in that feel good mood.
What is your favorite play to run?
Jet Sweep
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
No because a hoagie isn’t considered a sandwich, and a hotdog is practically a small hoagie.
