Coming off of a season where you just missed out on registering 100 tackles, what are your personal goals for the 2024 season?
My first goal is to get over 10 tackles a game to reach my ultimate goal of over 100 tackles this season, and my second goal is to stay healthy for the 2024 season.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
The strongest part of my game is definitely my effort on every play and the speed i play at
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played on?
Ruben Gordon on the Wash High Prexies
Looking back at only road football games, which has been the best stadium you have played, along with what made the stadium so good?
The best stadium I’ve played in has got to be Brentwood’s stadium, it was well shaded and the the stands were big.
Would you rather play your rival to open the season or to close it?
I would prefer to open the season with a rival game, because of the hype that comes with the first game of the season, it is also a great showcase to see who’s team worked harder in the offseason.
With this being your final high school football season, have you found yourself preparing any differently?
I have definitely been trying my best to be in the best shape that i can be for this season so that i don’t get injured, along with expanding my knowledge of football outside of practice and camps so that i can insure i have my best season yet.
If you are invited to play in one of the state all-star games after season. Will you?
I would definitely love to have the opportunity to play in an all-star game after the season just to show that i can play with the best there is in the state, and play one last time in high school.
What’s the best part of being a student-athlete at McGuffey?
The culture is the best part about being a student-athlete at McGuffey, the culture we have is unlike any that i have seen.
Which game are you looking forward to the most this season?
The game I’m looking forward to the most is
week one against our rivals
Which teammate is most likely to do something funny when things are going poorly, just to loosen things up?
Memphis Hadrych is definitely the teammate to do something goofy in a serious situation
What is the best part of being a linebacker?
The best part of being a linebacker for me is that I have to ability, because of my position, to get a lot of tackles, i enjoy being in the middle of every play
What is the toughest aspect of being a linebacker?
The toughest aspect of being a linebacker is getting off of a block from a lineman that is much larger than me.
What is your favorite type of music?
My favorite type of music is either Rap or Alternative Rock.
What is your favorite animal?
My favorite animal is a panther
What is your go to snack?
My go to snack is Goldfish
