Why do you play football?
I play football because it drives me to be a better person and to work harder
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
I would say Kobe, he inspires me to have a better mindset and confidence to be great
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
I would say my favorite play was a 20 yard touchdown run I had against Springdale. We were down 21-0 in the 3rd quarter and after that score we ended up coming back and winning 40-21.
What was last years season like for you?
It was a big step forward, it showed me how much hard work really pays off.
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals for this season are to make a good run in playoffs and receive all conference tight end.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
I would say braylan Lovelace
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game to watch was my homecoming game last year. Just seeing how much energy everyone had on and off the field was awsome.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
The perfect teammate would be someone with a great attitude and be able to lead and willing to help others
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Football is good for a community because it brings opportunity’s to bring people together
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Make it pro
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor would probably be my dad. He has pushed me to be great over the years and always makes sure I am staying on task and getting better everyday.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
Preseason Two a Days are:
Needed! Everybody always hates on two a days but in reality they aren’t bad at all, and they truly do get you conditioned for the season.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
I would say my grandmother, she has been at almost every game I’ve ever played since I was 7.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing is definitely my go to activity, it’s almost a form of meditation for me. It can be so peaceful and calming and I feel like that’s needed after a tough practice or a hard workout.
What is your favorite play to run?
My favorite play to run was called crisscross, were I would pull and lead block, as a tight end you don’t do that very often and it’s definitely fun to pull every once in a while
