WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:
Donnie is a very unique young man. This young man has Autism and lead our team in sacks (10) last year and did not start the first 3 games. He is a 1st team all conference defensive end. Donnie has a motor that never stops. he is very relentless with his effort.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Penn Hills High School ?
The recognition of being a hard working student in the classroom and on the field.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I have been playing football since 7th grade.
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Pine-Richland, the atmosphere for the rivalry that it’s been like ever since I started playing for Penn Hills.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Defense, because the pressure is on us to make the stop when everyone is tired, I love having to push through it and make the play.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
My biggest achievement was getting my name out there, having people know who I was, and college coaches seeing what I can do.
What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
Making the playoffs while being injured and having the mentality, and physically to play through it all.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
My Senior linemen, they’re are the people who helped me get better at my skills and pushed me to be ready for my time as a Senior.
What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
The goal for 2024 is for our team to win it all, be noticed and make it to the next level.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Aaron Donald, a person I aspire to be like, if not even better. I want to be known throughout football and go down as a legendary player just like him.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
The play I remember the most was in the semi-final against Pine-Richland, and I sacked the QB while Aaron Donald was watching.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
The best player I have played against was from Pine-Richland, number 75 or 72, it was a tough battle.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to play at any Pro Stadium where everyone is watching you in person or on TV.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
My favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles, the reason why is because I grew up watching them, my mother name me Donovan after Donovan McNabb.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember the Titans because it shows you that with a strong bond with your teammates, anything is possible whether you play for a big team or not. You can succeed no matter the obstacles placed in front of you.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to either run the ball or catch the ball as a lineman and score a touchdown.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Basketball, but I’m not good enough at it.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Being put on kickoff team my Freshman and Sophomore years and being put on the ground after being hit, just very embarrassing for that happen to me.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Just going on my phone, watch some Anime, it helps me relax my feelings and makes me feel happy as one of my hobbies.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, because I was born and raised in Pittsburgh.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I would have to say Kings Dominion has been my most favorite destination.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Natural Disasters
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Wendy’s because I enjoy their burgers, fries and drinks.
Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I have been to a Philadelphia Eagles game.
NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
The best league in my opinion is the NFL, I grew up watching it and started playing football to pursue my dream of one day making it the NFL.
What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Call of Duty on Playstation, COD was my first ever game and I will always play it because the game is fun.
What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Buffalo Chicken

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
I’m fine with any vehicle as long it gets me to my destination safely.
Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
Having a successful career the field of study I chose during my college career. My main career to start is to play in the NFL.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
The best to live in my opinion would be somewhere in a city suburb because, you would have everything there and wouldn’t need to leave unless you have a reason to do so.
