COACH SAYS: Jacob was a 2-way starter last year. He is a very good heavyweight wrestler at 6-2 260. Glad to see he is also getting some D 1 interest. Very high motor.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the Spartans ?
Being able to go to school and play football with my brothers.

Why do you play football ?
I love the sport. I love learning from my teammates and coaches!

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I’m going into my 9th year.

It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most ?
Playing every snap and competing.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
My Freshman year at Aliquippa. Their fans love football.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Offense 100%, you have more control of the outcome of the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Honorable Mention All Conference Center

What was the high point of the 2024 season ?
Beating Aliquippa on a 2-point conversion.

What are your goals for the 2025 season ?
Earn a division 1 offer, win the WPIAL Championship, go undefeated.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
It was great learning from players with more experience and who were better than me.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
My mom, she supports me in all my decisions and picks me up when I’m down.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Cam Heyward, he’s a dog on the D-line.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
The 2-point conversion against Aliquippa. The game was amazing in general.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Tikey Hayes from Aliquippa.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Ohio State has a great atmosphere.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Steelers. I have been watching them since I was 6.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Ohio State vs Notre Dame in the national championship game.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Rudy, it’s a great underdog story.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Kicking an extra point would be pretty cool.

Golf

Snapping the ball on check my first play of varsity football.

Hanging out with my friends.

Sheetz, their food is so much better.

Hilton Head

Go to Italy.

Shake Shack, even though it’s expensive, it’s really good.
