Let’s get to know Maclane:
How long have you been playing football?
I have been playing for 11 years.
Why did you start playing football?
I started playing football because I always loved the game and wanted to play, because everyone in my family did.
Do you have a team goal this year, and if so what?
Our goal is to win states; we fell short last year and will not let it slip away this year.
Who or what is your biggest motivation?
My biggest motivation is probably from my Uncle or Unk but I also see it from myself trying to improve on things and get better.
What is a favorite moment with the team or play you remember from your high school career?
My favorite memory from football was defiantly last season when we won the WPIAL championship, unreal feeling.
What are you going to miss the most about the team when you graduate?
What I will miss most is probably the bond I built with my teammates and coaches over the last three years.
Do you have any advice for underclassmen?
For underclassmen just work as hard as you can and try to be the best version of yourself; one percent better every day.
What is your favorite pre-game song?
Hail Mary by Tupac.
What is your favorite pre-game routine?
My favorite pre-game routine probably getting dinner before he game and just talking with my friends and staying loose.
What is your favorite movie?
The Hangover.
What do you do for fun when not playing football?
When I am not playing football, I am going fishing, hang out with my friends or wrestling.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
If I could live anywhere, I would probably live in Key West.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is personal finance.
What is your dream job (besides a professional football player)?
My dream job is to be a financial advisor.
What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal has gotta be all American cheeseburger and cheese curds from Buffalo Wild Wings.
Where is your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would be to go to Canada on a fishing trip.
Do you have any pets and if so, what?
I have a dog whose name is Rudi.
Do you currently play any other sports besides for football?
Yes, I also wrestle.
What is your favorite part of being a Pine-Richland student?
My favorite part of being a Pine-Richland student would be being able to be on a great football team.
