Season Outlook |
“The offseason has seen a lot of change for our program, but the summer has shown that our team is focused and committed to continuing the level of success we have grown accustomed to here. While we return a handful of players who have seen significant playing time over the past 2 seasons, we have a lot of inexperienced athletes stepping into key positions. Their development will be crucial as the year progresses. Again this season, we’re facing a very tough early season schedule, with multiple playoff-caliber and championship-contending opponents lined up right out of the gate. Our returners are going to have to step up and be leaders and our new guys are going to have to grow up quick. No better way to get better than to play the best, and I think our schedule provides us with that opportunity. The goal is steady improvement, toughness, and playing our best football when it matters most. We’re building toward a strong playoff push and playing meaningful football in late October, into November.” Scott Bryer |
