Avonworth’s Peter Bonnet Commits to Navy

On Tuesday night Peter Bonnet announced his commit to U.S Naval Academy to continue his football career. Bonnet, a 6’5 285 lbs. offensive and defensive tackle, was a big part of Avonworth’s WPIAL title and PIAA runner up run last season with 10 total tackles, four of which were solo and one sack, across four games.
Bonnet, who will graduate in 2026, was named a First Team All-Conference Tackle last season.
Bonnet had offers from Air Force, Army, Monmouth, Stony Brook, University of New Hampshire, Layfette, Sacramento State, Utah State, Fordham, Akron, Fresco State, Penn, Dartmouth and Cornell.
