On a Friday night that was recognized for seniors at Baldwin High School, the undefeated Bethel Park Blackhawks played spoiler, continuing their dominant season winning 56-6.

Bethel Park received the opening kickoff and set the tone early as QB Tanner Pfeuffer found WR Jack Bruckner for the early seven nothing lead. Even though Baldwin had a long, first drive consisting of only running plays, but stalled out and Bethel forced a punt.

Bethel continued having their offensive success as Pfeuffer found WR Mitchell Paschl to extend the lead to 14, and it only climbed from there. Paschl on the next drive and the other side of the ball picked off Baldwin QB Noah Mickolay.

Pfeuffer on the next drive for Bethel continued to show off his arm as he found WR Santino Nowozeniuk for the 45-yard TD. Bethel was up three scores before the end of the first quarter.

That was the common theme in the first half as Bethel Park was leading 35-0 heading into halftime. Pfeuffer had four touchdown passes to four different players and scored on every drive they had except for the last drive of the game.

The second half was all of the same. Javaughn Moore continued his stellar season as he scored the first touchdown of the second half and second of the game for the Blackhawks making it 42-0 not eleven five minutes into the third quarter.

Paschl got his second TD of the day late in the third quarter for the Blackhawks continuing to extend their lead. Baldwin’s only TD came with about seven minutes remaining as Devin Taylor found the endzone.

Bethel’s defense, while allowing a few long drives and the one rushing TD from the Highlanders, Bethel held Baldwin to only six points and had three takeaways in the process.

Bethel Park tacked on a last second TD with only seconds remaining in the game to get the final score of 56-6.

Bethel advances to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in Allegheny Six play; next week they will host the undefeated conference rival Upper Saint Clair Panthers. Baldwin is 0-7 overall and 0-2 in conference action and will stay at home as they will play conference opponent Moon.
