Can you tell our readers what was the worst thing about the short 2020 season?

Going 4-2 and still missing playoffs.

How important is it for all of the seniors’ starters or not to be a leader for the younger players on the squad?

Being a leader has been something Avonworth has leaned on for a while, the importance is beyond words, luckily Avonworth has had a good group of guys lead our team.

What will it take for you and the team to be a serious contender for a state title this season?

Our work ethic, we are in the weight room, on the field, and always communicating as a team, we will lean on work ethic to get us there.

Do you have any superstitions before heading to the field?

I always watch film all day in school, look up players, look at tendencies, it helps keep me ready for Friday night.

Which side of the ball do you like best and why?

Offense, I love being a big splash play guy, and doing what I do has always felt natural.

What is the one rule you would change when it comes to high school football?

One rule that I would love to change is the rule of a dead ball on 2 point conversion turnovers.

Do you play any other sports? If so, which ones?

I play basketball as well, basketball was my first love and has contributed to my athletic ability and directly correlates to football, also having a former football coach as my basketball coach has really helped me balance everything out.

Which road game do you enjoy the most?

Ambridge is a great field to play at, I’ve always liked the atmosphere there

Do you prefer college or pro sports?

Pro sports is what I was introduced too and with a historical team like the Steelers how can you not love it.

 Which class is your favorite?

History, I’ve always loved learning about the past.
