Gateway’s Kaiyen Mbandi Commits to Bucknell

On Friday afternoon Kaiyen Mbandi announced his commit to Bucknell to continue his football career. Mbandi, 6’3 280 lbs. left tackle/ defensive line, is an All-Conference player who is a known as a versatile lineman who can make tackles from anywhere.
Mbandi, who will graduate from Gateway in 2026, started for the Gators last year where he was able to secure a multitude of tackles while on the defensive line.
Mbandi, had offers from RMU, Bucknell, Wheeling University and Seton Hill.
