On Monday night Andy Tatsch announced his commit to Lehigh to continue his football career. Tatsch, a 6’3 200 lbs. safety and wide receiver, lead Latrobe for receptions last season with 26 for 438 yards and four touchdowns.
Tatsch, who was recruited to Lehigh as a safety, was an All-Class 5A Big East Conference First Team selection at defensive back for the 2024 season, where he made 67 total tackles, 47 of which were solo, and secured a pick-six.
Tatsch’s older brother, Alex, will be an incoming freshman at Penn State this fall. The younger Tatsch accredited a lot of help in his recruiting to his older brother; ““I talked to [Alex] a lot about what I should think is important about the school,” started Andy during an interview with Trib Live, “and how to make the best possible decision for me.”
Tatsch had offers from West Virgina, Akron, Buffalo, Cornell, Eastern Michigan, Yale, Penn, Bucknell, New Hampshire and Dartmouth.
