McKeesport came rumbling out of the gate with a 35 point first quarter, en route to a 74-6 victory over Indiana, which is a school record in points scored. Tigers quarterback Matthew Miller started things early with a 35-yard rushing score before adding three more through the air, including strikes to Abraham Miller, Cortez Stinson, and Akeem Cochran, giving him four total touchdowns on the night. Tigers star runningback Kemon Spell would leave his mark on the game only playing the first half, adding three strikes on the ground for 110 yards and a 40-yard punt return for a touchdown. Those 110 yards were enough to eclipse the 3,000 yard mark rushing for his career. McKeesport offense was firing on all cylinders, riding into halftime up 62-0. McKeesport defense was a force to be reckoned with as well, forcing two fumbles and coming down with two interceptions while holding the Indians to just 136 total yards and six points. Jermaine Callwood hauled in a 65-yard strike from back-up quarterback Jordan Stuvaints to cap off the game. The Tigers move to 6-3 and will return home to face Knoch next week. Indiana falls to 3-6 and will try to defend their home turf once again against Mars next week.
