On Friday night, Lincoln Hoke committed to the University of Pittsburgh to continue his football career. Hoke, a 6-foot-2, 250 pound defensive tackle for North Allegheny High School in Wexford, announced the commitment on his Twitter/X account.
In his senior season, Hoke had 66 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks and an interception, helping lead North Allegheny to an appearance in the WPIAL 6A Championship game.
Hoke, whose father Chris spent 11 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a defensive tackle, chose Pitt over 15 other offers, including Harvard, West Virginia, Michigan State and Penn State.
