Peters Township defeats Bethel Park, finishing regular season undefeated

On Friday night, Peters Township defeated Bethel Park with a final score of 68-28.
With this win the Indians complete an undefeated regular season record of 10-0.
The game starts off with a Peters three-and-out. Bethel Park responds with a play action touchdown pass from QB Tanner Pfeuffer to Ryan Petras.

That was the only time the Indians would trail in this game as they would retaliate with a passing touchdown. They would score a 75-yard passing touchdown and a short rushing touchdown all before the end of the first quarter.

The Indians defense stepped up as they would get two interceptions off of Pfeuffer before the end of the first quarter as well.
The second quarter would see a total of 28 points, and 56 total points in the first half.
The second interception would start them off well for the second quarter when Vinny Saracone would score his second touchdown of the night. The Indians would lead 28-7 into the early part of the second quarter.
Bethel Park found the endzone in the second quarter, cutting the Indians lead to 14. RB Preston Blair for Peters would start his multi-touchdown night with 3:36 left in the second quarter to make the score 35-14.
Blair scored once more before the end of the half, making the score 42-14 at the half.
The Blackhawks came out swinging with a quick score with a Javaughn Moore TD. Again thought, Peters retaliated with the team’s fifth rushing touchdown and extended the lead with a score of 48-21.
Following that drive, Ryan Petras would catch his second touchdown of the night on a tipped pass from Pfeuffer.
Bethel Park didn’t score for the rest of the game, while the Indians added 20 more points to their night. Peters Township would finish the night with eight rushing touchdowns, half of which came from Sarcone.

Peters finishes the year 10-0 overall and 5-0 in conference, while Bethel Park 4-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
