On Saturday June 14, Pittsburgh Central Catholic’s Ashton Blatt committed to the University of North Carolina.
The 6-foot-3, 227 pound DE has won 2x class 6A championships with PCC, was named All-State defensive end and has a three-star rating according to 247sports.com.
Blatt had 16 other D1 offers including Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Minnesota, Pitt, Purdue, Syracuse, Toledo, UCLA, Virginia and Wisconsin.
