It was Senior Night for the Seton LaSalle Rebels, but the celebration would end after the opening whistle. Sto-Rox flew to a 57-14 routing over the Rebels at Dormont Stadium.

The Vikings opening drive stalled at midfield. After that, the Vikings couldn’t be kept out of the endzone on any drive until halftime. Seven drives, seven touchdowns, two interceptions. The Vikings stormed down the field on their second drive of the game, and Amere Hibbler gave the Vikings the early 6-0 lead.

Only a minute and 17 seconds later, the Vikings proved their dominance through the air. Josh Jenkins found Jaymont Green-Miller down the middle of the field to put the Vikings up 14-0.

The Vikings were faster than the Rebels, and on their third score of the game it showed. Jaymont Green-Miller took a screen and sprinted down the sideline for a touchdown, outrunning half of the Rebels defense in the process.

Sto-Rox would cap a four-touchdown 1st quarter performance against the Rebels with a 44 yard strike to Dre Miller-Ross with 13 seconds left in the quarter.

The lead would only grow in the second, Brandon Massie would enact the mercy clock with nine and a half minutes left in the half with a 21 yard strike.

The only bright spot in the game for the Rebels was two 64 yard TD rushes from Seton LaSalle’s O’Malley Daly. One coming in the first and one coming in the second half.

The Vikings added to their lead with three TDs in the late first half and early second. All in different ways. The first, a QB sneak from Josh Jenkins. The second, a toe touching grab in the back of the endzone from Jaymont Green-Miller, his third of the night.

The last score was from Josh Jenkins to Zay Davis, which the young receiver was able to sneak in the pylon.

What’s Next: Sto-Rox will await it’s playoff fate when the WPIAL pairings are announced on Saturday..The Vikings will hope to be rewarded with one of the two first round byes in the WPIAL 2A playoff picture.
