What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
The Bulls need to hold onto the ball! We were plagued with turnovers the entire season. Can’t win any games giving your opponent great field position and expect your defenses to play all game with a short field. We need to be much more discipline as a football team. We also plan to be more balanced as an offense. We have changed our offense for the 2019 season.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
Our defense played well last year. They were put in bad field position throughout the season. Forced to defend a short field. We feel we have a lot of team spear and will continue to be an aggressive defense.
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
The Brashear Bulls will be relatively young. We have 7 seniors as opposed to 17 in 2018. This group appears to be more focused as a team and not so much about themselves. We have had 25-35 kids each day at summer conditioning. Last years team had pressure on them to compete for the City Championship. We under achieved and made too many mistakes. That is why we only had 3 wins.
