COACH SAYS: Demari is one of the most dominant and feared linemen in the Class of 2028. He combines physical strength at the line of scrimmage with rare agility and speed for a player of his size. Standing 6’1” and weighing 283 pounds, Demari is a true multi-sport athlete who also competes in track and field. This year, he earned first place in his field events at the Three Rivers Association and has qualified for the United States Track and Field Junior Olympics this summer.

    In addition to his athletic success in track, Demari was named MVP of the 2/10th Top 150 Offensive Linemen camp, where he was coached by future NFL Hall of Famer Aaron Donald. His powerful performance on the field has caught the attention of multiple Division I programs. As he enters his sophomore season, Demari is expected to continue his dominance and establish himself as one of the premier linemen in Western Pennsylvania.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the program/school ?
The best part of being a student athlete for USO, is that a lot of great people come from the school.

Why do you play football ?
I play Football because it allows me to let out stress whenever I’m having a tuff time dealing with other things in life. Another reason I play football is because I want my mom to experience things she could do or see.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I have been playing football since I was 5.

It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most ?
Going out on that field to show others what I can do.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
I haven’t really gotten to play any road games yet but, I’m looking forward to.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
If I had to choose, I would pick offense to help the team get down the field and score to seal the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
As an athlete my biggest achievement is going to Sacramento for the USATF Junior Olympics and placing 4th and becoming an All-American.

What was the high point of the 2024 season ?
Being able to play my first high school game and winning.

What are your goals for the 2025 season ?
My goals for the 2025 season is to make KDKA Super 7.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
I’m going to miss the Seniors that taught me how high school football ball is very competitive and how you have to fight for what you want.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
My mentor is my grandfather, he’s my mentor because he’s been teaching me how to be a man in this world and how everything doesn’t always come easy for young black.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Ever since I was young, my favorite sports star was Aaron Donald because he was a very dominant D-Lineman

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
I do not have a favorite play yet, but before the year ends, I will have one.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
I haven’t really matched up with a player that catches my eye yet.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Penn State

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Pittsburgh Steelers, because of all the players that previously played.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Oregon vs Penn State, because they are both teams that I enjoy watching.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Coach Carter, because he discipline’s his players whenever they’re in the wrong and make them deal with the
consequences.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
To get a chance to play pro.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Golf

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Getting misplaced by an OT or DT.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
To spend time with family, because you never know what just having a conversation could do for a family member.

What would you prefer if you only had one choice: BBQ Wings, BBQ Ribs, or Steak ?
Steak

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
I would pick Sheets, because their food options, but if I had to go just to get a quick drink, it’s Wawa.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Bahamas

Family BBQ over the weekend, what are you cooking up ?
Mac & Cheese, Burgers, Sausage, and Wings.

If you were handed a lot of money, what would be the first thing you would do with it ?
First, I would invest in it, then once the the investment skyrockets, I would take half out and spend it to get my mom a new house.

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I have a fear of heights.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
I would say Burger King because they have different burger styles.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
yes, I’ve been to Warriors vs Cavaliers, Steelers games, and to a Pitt game.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I would say NCAAF, because it shows way more talent.

If you were to be stranded on an island, what would be three things you had to have with you ?
First, I would have camping supplies, second, unlimited water supply, and of course, medical aid.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
CONSOLE: Madden and 2k, MOBILE: Speed Stars.

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Sausage, Ham, Spinach, Banana Peppers, and BBQ Sauce.

APPLE or ANDROID and WHY ?
Apple, beaches it is more advanced and has better quality.

Reading

New Edition

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Airplane, I would travel to Hawaii.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
To become old.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I would say down South, since it is very hot down there and they get to play and train all year around.
