Who is your favorite sports star and why?
Josh Allen— my dad instilled a love for the Buffalo Bills in me since I was very young. Allen came into the draft with some comments of being “wildly inaccurate” and through hard work put himself on the map with his passion for the game. You have to love an underdog! And…he’s a QB!
Why do you play football?
I grew up in a strong football family. My dad and my older brothers played too. Most recently, I watched my older brother, Keaton Rounsville, chase a dream to play college football. It lit a fire in me. My family has always been the biggest support for me. I love the physical side of the game and love to compete.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Netflix-QB1
What is better than watching athletes working for their passion to play college ball! Hard work, perseverance, struggle and success!
What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
My head coach is Jim Hillman and this question is loaded!
So to be safe, I will pick Spike from Tom and Jerry!
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Mom, “Zuke, RUN!!!!!”
Dad, well he doesn’t yell, because he knows I can’t hear him!
Tell everyone something about you that would make them laugh out loud:
When I was working for my uncle, he always yell for me to not do anything “half-(I’m not sure I should write the word).
I thought he was telling me to not do things half-fast so I always ran!
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
I got contacts last year, I hadn’t worn them to play in a basketball game and the eye doctor told me I needed to.
So I put them in for a game. They totally messed up my shot and I air balled a lay up. Couldn’t make foul shots and Coach Landmesser wanted me to never wear them again!
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My Papa. He never misses an opportunity to watch me play football. He thinks there is no one better than me and is very proud—he makes sure everyone knows it. My Papa lives in Smethport and he and my Nana proudly display their Kane Wolves flag and stickers there!
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Video Games and You Tube.
I just love to compete always and it’s my way to escape!
