Why do you play football ?
I play football to keep me in shape for wrestling. It keeps me from sitting around all summer and fall.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Cameron Heyward, he is a very humble person and he gives back to his community all the time.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
Yes, it was a 40 yard touchdown run against Huntingdon. I had a beautiful stiff arm and broke 2 tackles.
Who is the best player you have ever lined up against ?
Oliver Billotte in practice.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to go to a high school state championship game. Like a 6A game with a ton of people.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Pittsburgh Steelers, they were my dad’s favorite team, so it was just passed down.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
I didn’t watch since I was playing, but my favorite game I’ve been a part of was our D9 Championship game last year against St. Mary’s. It was pouring the entire game and I’ve never played in conditions like that so it was very memorable.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember the Titans, It’s the only sports movie I have ever finished.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
A game winning touchdown.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would have loved to play Lacrosse or Rugby.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
I got pancaked last year during our game against Tyrone. A DL crashed down really hard and I pulled across out of a cheat to block him and when I hit him he didn’t move and I fell.
Tell us something about playing for Clearfield that stands out, that others may not know ?
We have amazing coaches. The head coach we had for the past couple decades is considered one of the best PA football coaches ever. Now that he resigned, a Pitt football player who started over Aaron Donald in college is now our coach. And not only our head coaches, but out of our 4 assistant coaches, 3 of them were college football players. I think this is a large part of our success and I’m very grateful for it.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I love studying and reading my bible. I do it for at least an hour a day and it’s often longer than that.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, They’re just the best.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Wildwood, I don’t know why, but we have been to beaches all across the East Coast and that one has stayed my favorite.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I have a fear of not making it to heaven.
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
A McDonalds Big Mac always hits the spot. Pro Tip: put the BBQ sauce on it for the best experience.
Favorite School Subject ?
Math, Calculus specifically !
Favorite Band/Musician ?
I can’t pick a favorite. Some of my favorites are: NF, Taylor Swift, Elevation Worship, The Fray.
NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NFL, it’s the only one I watch so I’m biased.
Best Video Game Console(XBox/Playstation/Sega/Atari/etc) and why ?
Playstation, I like the interface a lot better. Didn’t mean to sound like a nerd but it’s true.
Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Road trips will always be the best way to travel. And I would travel to Oregon, stop at Colorado on the way. I see TikTok’s of the nature in those two states and want to go really bad.
Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I want to become as close to Christ as I can. My ultimate life goal is to bring as many people as I can to our Lord and pursue Him myself as well.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
The mountains, I’m not a beach or city person, There’s too many people. I like the mountains because they’re often secluded and you have your own space.
