Coach says “Jimmy is one of the most dominant lineman I have seen in our league. He has phenomenal size and athleticism. He looks to dominate every snap”

LET’S GET TO KNOW JIMMY

Why do you play football?

Playing football is a passion that has shaped my life. The game not only provides an exhilarating challenge but also has a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. On the field, I feel a rush of adrenaline and a deep connection with my teammates as we work towards a common goal. It’s meaningful to me because it represents more than just a sport; it embraces the excellence, the joy of collective achievement, and the lifelong friendships.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?

Every game day I look forward to pregame speeches, pregame music, and the hype in the locker room. I look forward to stepping out on the field and feeling the energy and excitement of the crowd. Most importantly The opportunity to challenge myself and to contribute to our team’s success is what makes game day so special!

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Trent Williams, the tackle for the San Francisco 49ers, is my favorite sports star because of his great play. His dominant presence as a left tackle is unmatched, consistently protecting the quarterback and paving the way for the running game.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play that we run is buck sweep because as a tackle I’m blocking down and just destroying the defensive tackle!

What was last years season like for you?

Last season I felt our team had something to prove especially me. Coming off of a knee injury my sophomore year and having to miss out on quite a few games just made me want to come back stronger my junior year and that’s what we did being undefeated in the regular season was good but now we are out for something bigger. A state championship!

What are your goals for this coming season?

I have a few but the biggest one is definitely a state title. I know our team is capable of it and I know we can do it I feel like it’s expected of our team and anything else isn’t good enough.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I’ve been to pennstate for a couple games and the atmosphere is just unmatched there is seriously nothing like it. I would love to go back!

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

My favorite pro team is the Steelers that’s just how I was raised I’ve always been with the Steelers but being in western PA and being so close to Pittsburgh plays a big role in that.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

I’d say my favorite game that I’ve played in had to be the Redbank game last season. We wanted our undefeated season and we got it.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

I could watch the football movie “Greater” every day because it really represents the true story of grit, resilience, and the power of persistence. Brandon Burlsworth’s path from a walk-on at the University of Arkansas to an All-American athlete shows what can be achieved through dedication and total belief in oneself.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

One thing that would be amazing for me would be the chances of playing division 1 football

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I don’t think I could narrow it down to just one person I have many mentors and people that believe in me and want me to do my best.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

2 main activity’s I do is Fishing or hunting when I’m not playing or training for football. I love the outdoors and I really enjoy to do both of them. Fishing and hunting gives me rush of excitement similar to football.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

I would say my favorite football memory is beating Bradford 80-0 although we had our 2nd string in by the 2nd quarter it was still exciting.

What is your favorite play to run?

definitely buck sweep or any screen play because on buck I’m blocking down and destroying the tackle and on a screen im blocking down field and in space and they are both great!

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?

I would say Applebees is always a good choices big thing of pasta or a big burger always does it.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

I’ve always liked the beach because the environment and nature of it is always great. Being on the beach with friends and family and swimming is just always fun!
