Coach says: Jase is a phenomenal talent. He will be a 4 year starter at the quarterback position. His leadership and work ethic is unmatched. I am blessed to have coach this young man. Jase’s resume and stats speak for himself. He will be chasing many accomplishments this season including 3rd District title as a starting quarterback, his 3rd League MVP, 3rd All State selection, and is in reach of 10,000 yards and sits at almost a 100 passing touchdowns for his career and could likely reach 150 total touchdowns (passing, rushing, and defensive.)

Why do you play football?

The main reason i play football is for the life lasting bonds and friendships i make with my teammates and coaches. Football is like no other sport. When you step foot on that field, it’s like war. You have to sacrifice your body for the greater good of the team. I have all my teammates backs just like i know they have mine. That is why football is so special.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

My favorite sports star is probably Russel Wilson. He was overlooked a lot because of his size and it says a lot about him that he kept working hard and getting better.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play happened in Punxsy last year. We were on defense and my best friend Brady Quinn caught an interception. I ran out in front of him and blocked two lineman out of bounds as he ran into the end zone for a pick 6.

What was last years season like for you?

Disappointing…we went 9-1 in the regular season 2 years ago and won the d9 title but then lost to Westinghouse which ended our season. Last year we went 10-0 in the regular season averaging around 55 points per game and won the d9 title again. Then we lost to Westinghouse again on our home field. We wanted nothing less than a State Title so that lose to end our season for the second year in a row was very upsetting and disappointing.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Make myself and all my teammates better players through my actions on and off the field. Inspire people to go out and play sports and have fun because it truly is the best time of your. And inspire people to follow our Saviour Jesus Christ because without him we would be nothing.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

A d linemen from clearfield.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I would love to go to a Penn State football game.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Pittsburgh Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Our game against Karns city that went into overtime 2 years ago.

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

Visit more colleges and go to more camps.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

The perfect teammate is someone that will put his life on the line for the team. They step out on the field every friday night and play their heart out for the team and their teammates.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

It brings the community together. Everyone comes to the game and makes a student section or just sits in the stands and they all cheer for the same team.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

I would love to go out on a route and catch a fade for a touchdown.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I have always looked up to my Uncle Joe. He is the most hardworking, funny, giving, christian man i have ever met. He truly inspires me to try my best, keep going when it gets hard, and be a better christian man.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

My favorite drill is just getting reps in with my receivers and getting out timing down. My least favorite drill is footwork drills. Although very important to improving my game i dread doing them.

Preseason Two a Days are:

Essential. They suck in the moment but they get you in shape and make you a much better player.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My grandma. She goes to every game she can and cheers me on all the time.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
