WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:

Aidan is an extremely hard working and focused young man in school and the football field. He really came into his own last year on the field. He was excellent on both sides of the ball. As a Junior, he was a 1st Team All-Conf. OL and a Big 30 Offensive All-Star. He’s had an excellent off-season, so far.

GETTING TO KNOW AIDAN:

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Saint Marys High School ?
The teachers are understanding about our sports schedules and how busy we can be during our seasons.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
Going on my 5th year, started in 8th grade.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Dubois’s stadium, the student section creates a really electrifying atmosphere that really pumps me up.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
I’d rather be on offense, because I’m more confident in my skills as an offensive lineman.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Probably making Big 30 in my first year as a starter.

What was the high point of the 2023 season?
Beating Bradford was the highpoint because, no one expected us to win as a result of us losing 4 games in a row, so it was a satisfying win.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The biggest thing I’m going to miss is the commitment and dedication. A lot of younger kids on our team aren’t that serious about football.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?
Becoming conference champions.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Zack Martin is my favorite because, I learn a lot from watching him and he’s one of the best in his position.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ?
My favorite play was when I got a tackle for loss on 4th and inches against Bradford.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
The best player I’ve lined up against so far is, Jimmy Kerr, from Central Clarion.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Beaver Stadium

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Dallas Cowboys, I was born in Fort Worth, so I have to rep the home team.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Central Michigan at Penn State was a great game and I was hanging out with friends, which made it better.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember the Titans, because it is such an inspiring classic.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?

Boxing

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Forgetting my cleats at an away JV game, we still won.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I would say, just relaxing or just driving around either by myself or with friends, just hanging out.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, I’ve never been to the other two.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Southern California

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Not being able to live life to the fullest.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
McDonald’s, it’s the go to post-game meal.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I’ve been to a couple baseball games, the Pirates and a Texas Rangers game.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
The NCAAF is better, because it’s more about sports than entertainment.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Cheese

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where?
I would travel in a car or RV with some friends coast to coast.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I really just want to live happily.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
A house up in the mountains would be nice, because of the terrain and the views I would have.
