Coach Says: Jake was 1st team All-State last year at OLB. He is an extremely hard worker and tackling machine on defense. He had 117 tackles, 14 TFL, 3.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles last year and showed is selflessness by playing multiple positions on offense. He had 283 rushing yards and 328 receiving yards on offense. Jake is a team guy that will always do what is asked to the best of his ability at 110%.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the Panthers?
I get the chance to excel in the classroom and on the field.

Why do you play football?
I play it because I fell in love with the sport, but also because I love to tackle people.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
This will be my 6th year of tackle plus 7 years of flag football.

It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most?
I look forward to hearing the first crunch when helmets and pads hit.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good?
I love to play at Brockway’s field because it is an awesome facility, and the games are always close.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense? Explain:
Defense, because that is when you can be the most physical, and it’s what I love to play.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement?
It would be achieving 1st team All-State linebacker.

What was the high point of the 2024 season?
Winning in the first round of the playoffs.

What are your goals for the 2025 season?
Win a District 9 title.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
I’m going to miss the energy they brought to field.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
I would say God, because he gave me the ability to play the game.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
TJ Watt, because I love the Steelers, and he is a defensive menace.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
I would say it would be my Freshman year when I got the chance to start against our rivals, and I hit the running-back and made him do a front flip.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for?
I would say the linemen and running-back who played for Port Allegany in the 2024 season.

What stadium (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game?
Acrisure Stadium for a Steelers vs Ravens match-up.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Steelers, because I have grown up in a family of diehard Steelers fan and have become one myself.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
Every Steelers vs Ravens game because it is a defensive rivalry.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember The Titans

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Win a state championship.

Rugby

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I love to work, hunt, lift, and hang out with friends.

I love to go the beach.

Start my own Gym.

NCAAF, because the players are so explosive.
