Brockway Falls To Port Alleghany 47-21

Port Allegany delivered an impressive performance on the road, defeating Brockway 47-21 in a high-energy contest that showcased their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Junior Aiden Bliss came into the night number 18 in rushing yards in the whole country. (according to https://www.maxpreps.com/football/stat-leaders/offense/rushing/yds/ )

From the opening whistle, Port Allegany set the tone with a relentless ground attack and an efficient passing game. Junior running back Aiden Bliss was the standout performer, amassing 244 rushing yards on 18 carries, including a 60-yard touchdown run with 2 others a 20 yard rushing score. He also punched in a 1 yard score to open it up.


Bliss’s explosive performance was pivotal in Port Allegany’s commanding win, demonstrating his ability to break through Brockway’s defensive line with ease.

Tristan Kiser also made significant contributions, rushing for 84 yards and scoring two touchdowns. His dynamic play on both offense and special teams, with a total of 99 all-purpose yards, proved crucial in maintaining Port Allegany’s momentum throughout the game.

Quarterback Nick Wilfong provided a solid performance, completing 3 of 5 passes for 69 yards. Although his passing game was not the primary focus, his accuracy when called upon helped balance the offense and keep the Brockway defense on their toes. Freshman B. Fillhart also had a notable moment, connecting on a 26-yard pass that added to the team’s overall offensive output.Port Allegany’s rushing attack was relentless, totaling 397 yards on 42 carries. The offensive line did an excellent job of creating running lanes, allowing Bliss and Kiser to exploit Brockway’s defense. Julian Kaple and Kellen Veilleux added depth to the rushing game, combining for 50 yards and contributing to the overall success of the ground game.

Defensively, Port Allegany was equally impressive, tallying 49 tackles and applying consistent pressure throughout the game. Junior linebacker Tristan Kiser led the team with 9 tackles, including a key stop that thwarted a Brockway drive. Juuso Young contributed with a sack that disrupted Brockway’s offensive rhythm, highlighting the defensive line’s ability to make impactful plays.

Brockway’s offensive efforts were led by their own standout players, but they struggled to keep pace with Port Allegany’s high-octane performance. Despite scoring three touchdowns, Brockway could not overcome the defensive pressure and the offensive efficiency of their opponents.

Port Allegany’s special teams also played a role in the victory. Jarrod Funk was perfect on PATs, contributing 5 points to the team’s total score. His consistent kicking added to the overall efficiency and execution of Port Allegany’s game plan.

As the final whistle blew, Port Allegany celebrated a well-earned victory, showing that their combination of a potent rushing attack, effective passing game, and solid defensive play makes them a formidable opponent in their league. With this win, Port Allegany solidifies their position as a team to watch, demonstrating that they are capable of high-level performances both offensively and defensively.

Port Allegany’s Aiden Bliss said “We are just coming out to playing to our full potential and coming out on top” Bliss played a large rule in the victory but Ultimately giving the offensive line the credit stating “That’s our offensive line just doing a good Job blocking they work all winter and all summer; They are very good guys.”
