Lezzer Lumber game to be played Sunday, June 6 at Tyrone’s Gray Memorial Field

The Central Pennsylvania Football Coaches’ Association will hold the Thirty-seventh Annual Lezzer Lumber Football Classic on Sunday, June 6 at Tyrone’s Gray Memorial Field. Former Clarion Head Coach Larry Wiser will lead the North squad and the South Squad will be led by Altoona head coach Vince Nedimyer.
Approximately, 14 scholarships will be awarded at halftime of this game. The NORTH holds a 18-17 lead over the SOUTH (with last year’s game was cancelled due to the C0-Vid 19 issue.)
This year’s game will have 4 members of the coaching ranks of Central Pennsylvania inducted into the CPFCA Hall of Fame. Mark Baney and Mike Snyder of State College both have over 30 years of coaching experience as an assistant. Dave Domico of Clearfield also served as an assistant coach with over 30 years of experience. Finally, Tom Irwin of Bishop Guilfoyle will also be recognized for his service.
Dave Domico’s son (Nick Domico) is also playing in the game as is Mark Baney’s son, Matt. Mark is the Honorary Captain of the game.
