Ellis got off to a sluggish start. LaCrosse scored three first half touchdowns, and led 28-0 before Ellis got on the board. Ellis had the ball on 4th and 22 late in the fourth after scoring two touchdowns trying to cut the lead to one score. The pass to the endzone was incomplete. Ellis travels to LaCrosse in four weeks for a rematch.
