Six-Man Football

The Wibaux (pronounced, Wee-Bow) Longhorns are regular contenders for state titles. Playing in the season finale on Saturday night at Savage, the host Warriors looked to test their mettle against a formidable opponent. After a scoreless first quarter, Wibaux opened up with three touchdowns in the second frame. And two more in the third to start the running clock and put the competitive part of the game to rest. Savage struggled to move the ball efficiently all night, and as the time was winding down, took bigger and bigger chances with the aerial game to try and score. Eventually proving unsuccessful.
