This game got on my radar late only because it was also being held at Cincinnati Walnut Hills High School as was the game I had planned on seeing. Walnut Hills has a big stadium and from what I have been told a practice stadium, with turf also. This game was played at the smaller of the two venues. With it kicking off one hour before my planned game, I opted to take this one so I could get home one hour earlier and it gave me a chance to see Dohn play, for the first time ever.
Dayton Christian started behind the eight ball way before the game started. Both kickers, I was told was at a soccer tourney game , the back up quarterback also a starting linebacker was out because of an injury. To make maters worse was the starting quarterback leaving the game with turf toe. So this left them with #28 Owen Bohannon (ON THE HUDL ROSTER) to move into the quarterback slot and the kicking job went to #13 (NOT ON THE ROSTER).
Caleb Stark would score on a 30 yard catch to put the Warriors up 6-0 with 10:03 left in the opening quarter.
Big # 73 (Sadly not on the roster) who goes at least 300 pounds would line up as a full back and make like William Refrigerator Perry and plow it from about to yards out to make this a 12-0 game. The PAT was good off of the foot of #13 to make this a 13-0 game with 2:18 left in the opening quarter.
Owen Bohannon would get another touchdown catch, this time from 23 yards out to make this a 20-0 game with 9:35 in the half.
Bohannon was moved to QB in the third quarter, so his big day catching the ball came to an end which was a blessing as far as the Dohn defense was concerned. Tank Jamison, who goes 5-7 and 230 pounds would pick up a fumble and muscle his way into the endzone to makes this a 26-0 game, with a little over 2:00 left in the game.
