Bloomsburg was forced to punt again on their next possession. The field position battle swung in the Huskies favor when Chris Monaco picked off a Chris Jones pass. Bloomsburg’s best offensive plays came on the next two possessions. The play was high punts inside the Griffins twenty. The Griffins fumbled both giving the Huskies great field position. The first was recovered at the 12. Two plays later backup quarterback David LePoidevin hit an uncovered John Ayres for a 14 yard touchdown. The game was tied 7-7.
