Game number fifty one this year took me to Fairfield Union high school to watch the Monday Night matchup between host Fairfield Union and Logan Elm. Both teams have struggled enormously this season. Logan Elm came in with a 1-5 record, while Fairfield Union limped in at 0-6.
Logan Elm would get the party started, when Chase Hoffman took in a pass from Conner Robinson for a 41 yard gain. From there the same combo struck for a 15 yard touchdown, with the PAT by #2(NOT ON EITHER ROSTER) perfect the Braves had a 7-0 lead, with 9:57 left in the opening quarter. The Braves defense got off to a great start with Evan Valentine and #54 (Not on either roster) got to Isaac Daugherty for a one yard loss. Daugherty would haul in a pass from Hayden Collins and take it to the Logan Elm 41 yard line. The drive fizzled out shortly afterwards. The last big play of the quarter came when Nathan Schmelzer stopped Chase Hoffman on a fake punt attempt.

A 73 yard catch by Donte Dryden coupled with another PAT would make this a 14-0 game, with 9:51 left in the half. The Falcons looked to have a long gain after #24 (NOT ON EITHER ROSTER) made a sweet catch and run, but he would cough the ball up after being hit and making the recovery for the Braves was #12 (NOT ON EITHER ROSTER), WITH 8:51 showing on the clock. The Braves would make two nice plays before the half came to a close. The first was a nice run up the gut by Chase Hoffman, with the last play being a pick by Donte Dryden.

The third quarter would be a scoreless one, with each team making one nice play. For the Braves it was another pick, this one from Dryden and for the Falcons it was a crushing blow by Schmelzer on Robinson to force a fourth and four for the Braves. The fourth quarter would start off with Matthew Dyer galloping to a 55 yard gain. The drive closed out on a two yard run for six points by Robinson. The PAT would make this a 21-0 game, with 8:55 left in the game. On the next Logan Elm drive Robinson was sacked by Nathan Schmelzer for a 7 yard loss. A punt would soon follow and the Falcons would get a long punt return by Hayden Collins all the way to the Braves 8 yard line. two plays later Collins would score from from four yards out, then Luke Gornall added the PAT to make this a 21-7 game, with 3:07 left in the game. Logan Elm would get a 51 yard run from Dyer to set up a four yard run by Dyer to make this a 27-7 game, with 2:25 left. The Braves defense would make the games last big play, with Ryan Miller clocking Daniel Pavlov for a 11 yard loss.
