This marked my first time visiting historical Municipal Spartan Stadium located in Portsmouth, Ohio and I have to say even though the place has aged over the years, it is a must see place as far as watching a game. Northwest was predicted by Calpreps to win this one 40-6  and they came very close to doing so, with their 41-12 win.

Northwest (3-3) scored early and often aided by dominating offensive line play. Both teams run a version of the tight wing T offense, with the biggest difference being Northwest has the ability to throw the ball, when they want. The first score by the Mohawks came on a short run, I am guessing it came from Brayden Campbell. The pile was big and the formation was very tight, making it hard to see, who actually had the ball. The P.A. announcer was hit or miss all night and he was a big miss on this one because he made no indication as to who scored.  The PAT made this a 7-0 game, with 8:22 left in the opening quarter.  Austin Newman was next to score for Northwest on a short quarterback run and then Dakota Secrest booted the PAT to increase the lead to 14-0.

Campbell definitley scored the next for Northwest on a 59 yard catch to make it 20-0. The pass was very Archie Manning like making the catch for the wide opened Campbell, who then out ran the defense to light up the scoreboard. Jake McGuire would get the Titans on the board, with a one yard run. His big offensive line really showed up on this play. Throughout the game, they would be beat up on at a very alarming rate, making their run game non existent for most of the game. The score remained 20-6 as the point after try was not converted. Billy Carbtree made it 26-6  with a  13 yard catch, with the PAT making this a 27-6 game with 2;17 left in the half.

Nathan Rivers scored first in the third to make 34-6, after another PAT kick was good. Rivers added another score in the third with another PAT being good to make this a 41-6 game. The Titans (0-6) scored last with Logan Emnett ramming in from  four yard out to make the final score 41-12 Northwest.
