Mississinewa limped into this one carrying an 0-3 record, while Madison Gant came in a little better of supporting a 1-2 record. The Indians came out looking like a team starving for a win and almost looked like they were ready to go on the warpath. The scoring began innocently enough with Carson Campbell scoring from 15-yards out, with Mason Reel adding the point after to give the Indians a 7-0 lead.
Not much time had gone by when Campbell again scored to make this a 13-0 game. Campbell was a beat early in this one as he would score again on a 5-yard run early in the 2nd to make this a 20-0 game. At 5-5 and enough speed to leave most defenders in the dust Campbell should be a pain for any team left on the Indians schedule. Campbell was not finish scoring in this one as he hustled in from 19-yards out to make this a 26-0 game.
Hayden Nelson would go 54-yards for the next Indians touchdown making this a 33-0 game late in the third quarter. Nelson just a Junior will be around in 2022 to team with Campbell for a very dangerous 1-2 punch. Nelson would add a 36-yard touchdown run to make it 40-0 Indians. Nelson wasn’t done hitting pay dirt as he scored from 40-yards out to make this a 47-0 game with time still left in the third frame.
Andy Stanley would end the scoring in this one with a 2-yard run making the final 47-6.
