This was my final 2019 regular season game along with being the nightcap game of my Saturday double headed.
Strasburg (2-8), who dressed only 16 players for this game, would leave the game down a player because of an injury.
Tuscarawas Central Catholic (4-6) would find themselves down 7-0 early but thanks to a wicked passing game on this cold, windy and sometime rainy night the Saints would end the season with a very easy 47-13 win.
Lucas Lindsey would go 6 yards to open the scoring for the Tigers, with Gaven Stull adding the point after, to make this a 7-0 game at the 7:07 mark in the opening quarter. Ryan Dick hauled in a 62 yard pass for the first Saints score Nick Neuhart would lock this one up at seven apiece with his PAT, with 5:37 left.
The 2nd quarter would see the Saints add a touchdown on a Ryan Dick 21 yard run and ad another TD on a 1 yard run by Dick that made this a 21-7 game, as both of the PATS were good. The biggest difference in the half was the Tigers had zero threat of a passing game and their wing T offense looked to be in slow motion, we as the Saints had zero problems running or passing the ball.
The Saints added three more touchdowns in the third quarter. The first one was a Thayne Mahaffey 8 yard run, followed by a 38 yard catch by Jake Miller and then it was a Bradyn Nussbaum 38 yard catch. The Saints would have a 40-7 lead after those scores.
In the final frame, the Tigers got a 1 yard plunge for a score by Jaden Williamon to make this a 40-13 game. The final score came from the Saints on a Jake Miller to Alex Price from 54 yards out to make this a 47-13 game.
