This was the third game of my Saturday night triple header and I have to thank @Sykotyk for bringing this game to my attention. This was my first time catching a game at Marlington high school and my first time seeing either of these teams. The game was basically over in the first quarter even though the Trojans never quit playing and from my spot on the field and then later up in the bleachers, thier effort looked to be 100%.
Senior quarterback Caleb Francis had a good game for the vikings going 18 of 24 passing the ball, which was good for 277 yards and three touchdowns and he used his feet to rush for 101 yards on five carries and he scored three times. Kyle Shockley led the winning Vikings with seven catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Max Adelman had a receiving touchdown, while Cody Stump scored two rushing touchdowns. The Vikings now stand 1-3.
For the Trojans, quarterback Zane Peterson scored twice rushing the ball. However The Trojans were held to 17 rushing yards in 24 attempts. In a large part it was Max Adelman, who goes 6-5 and Logan Robinson both linebackers for the Vikings that kept the Trojans running game in check. The defensive line won the war up front, making things very easy for both of those fine linebackers. Sebring falls to 1-2.
