Aaron Smetanka is the new Kiski School Head Football Coach

The Kiski School announce Aaron Smetanka as the new Head Coach of Kiski Football. A Western Pennsylvania native, Coach Smetanka attended North Catholic High School and Robert Morris University before matriculating at St. Vincent College, where he played as starting quarterback for two years.

After St. Vincent’s, Smetanka played professional football in the Continental Indoor Football League for two seasons, winning two league championships and earning recognition as the league’s Most Valuable Offensive Player.

Smetanka has extensive coaching experience, including time as head coach at Greensburg Central Catholic High School and six years as head coach at St. Vincent College.

“At Kiski, my mission is to build a team that shows discipline, teamwork, integrity — and excellence both on and off the field,” said Coach Smetanka, “I am excited to continue The Cougar legacy while finding new opportunities for the team’s growth and success”.
