Yesterday I made my first ever trip to Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky to watch the battle between Boyd County and East Carter. There were no rosters made available in this one I am guessing it was due to the game being played at the local college stadium and not one of the two high schools.
In the opening half, East Carter’s defensive line was the star of the show as they pressured, hit, and knocked down the quarterback from Boyd County. The only scoring in the half came on a five-yard touchdown run by East Carter. The point after kick was low and very short. East Carter shot themselves in the foot a few times keeping the offense from doing more damage. Two players for East Carter who stuck out in the half were #5 & 61.
In the second half, Boyd County would see their offensive line get down and dirty in the running game and this led to #32 looking very good as he showed some nice power running a lot like John Riggins. The Lions would get the only score in the half on a four-yard touchdown pass. The point after kick was very low and five yards short.
For all of the picks
