
Boyle County hangs on to win over Lexington Christian (PHOTO GALLERY)

In the night game of the Rebel Bowl in Danville, Kentucky, the homestanding Boyle County Rebels won a nailbiter, 28-21 over Lexington Christian. The Rebels jumped out to a 21-0 lead at the half. Then held on as Lexington Christian scored three second half touchdowns to tie the game, 21-21 with 8:03 left.
Boyle County finally found the endzone one more time, on a 1 yard run with 1:48 left. However, that was it all for Lexington Christian. The Eagles drove the field and faced a 4th down deep on Rebel territory, and came up short. Letting Boyle County kneel out the final play of the game for the victory in the Community Trust Rebel Bowl.
