Before getting into the game I want to thank the good people from White for getting me a seat in the press box plus the rosters from both teams. Also, this little fun fact both teams have the same fight song.

The Barrons got off quickly with a 13-yard run from Garrett Slater. The Rams though would recover from the run when Azel Lunsford got to Nathan Huss for a short loss as the two teams exchanged nice plays early. Later in the drive, the Barrons faced a fourth, and ten Huss would find Le’Den Jones for a big 21-yard gain. The drive ended without any points as the Rams defense forced a turnover on downs. The Rams would get a nice run from Donye Headspeth totaling 18 yards, they also converted a fourth and ten when Andre Jackson went to his to move the chains. The Barons defense would clamp down and keep this one tied at zero forcing a turnover on downs. The two teams combined to run 22 plays on their first drives. The Rams defense would make the last big play of the opening quarter when Antonio Wheaton stuffed Malakhi Ross for a loss of three.

The Barrons 2nd drive ended on the thirteenth play when Slater broke a tackle and powered his way into the end zone from 7 yards out, after Gradin Gentner was true on his point after kick we had a 7-0 score just five seconds into the second quarter. This would become a 9-0 after Jackson had the snap go over his head and roll out of the end zone with 10:46 left in the half.

Dwayne Jacobs would pick off Huss on the ensuing drive to get the Rams offense back on the field.Marcus Hemphill would get back-to-back tackles for losses when he got to Jackson for a 6-yard loss and to Davaunte Land for a loss of five. Before the half ended Ross would pick up 22-yards on a nice run and Ross would record a tackle for loss when he got to Headspeth for a loss of seven.

At the 8:40 mark of the third quarter, Jacobs made his second interception of the game to get the Rams offense on the field and the end result was a 36-yard touchdown run by Christian Miller after #23 Dillen Myers hit the point-after kick we had a 9-7 game with 7:35 left in the third.

At the 4:20 mark of the quarter, the Rams offense was hoping to get another score but on a tipped pass the ball would be intercepted by #23 to give the Barons the ball. Facing a third and nine at the 3:34 mark of the quarter Huss picked up 10 yards to move the chaons. Ross carried five Rams with him on his way to a 15-yard gain taking the ball to the Rams seven. Huss would break an arm tackle on his way to the 7-yard score making this a 16-7 game. Honeter Montana would get to Lane for a short loss for the last big play of the quarter.

Buckeye Valley would get two interceptions in the fourth along with one final touchdown. Getting the picks were Tristian Pemberton and Jones. Scring the touchdown to make the final score 23-7 was Ross.
