Buffs pull away from Tomahawks

A slugfest between GEFA Mountain Conference foes went down, as the Mifflin County Tomahawks (5-2) went on the road southwest Saturday afternoon to Everett to take on the Bedford County Buffaloes (6-1), weather conditions at game time called for a cloudy, gloomy, rainy day, but with the 10 game season coming to an end & playoffs in the balance, it boiled down to who wanted it more, costly mistakes by the Tomahawks in key situations & a few unfavorable referee calls not going their way meant the end of the road, the Buffaloes with their balanced running & passing attack ended up being too much for the Tomahawks to handle. the Buffs took care of business with the homefield win 44-57 & added another win in the standings.
