Casey County uses strong defense to defeat Lincoln County 10-6

Either way, you want to twist it Casey County posted the win in the Death Valley bowl over the host team Lincoln County by the score 10-6. Lincoln County was held to a total of 166 yards on 52 plays, with Sawyer accounting for 108 of them. He was 7-21 passing for 69 yards and he rushed for 39 yards on 16 carries and a score. For the winners, they ran just 43 plays for a total of 215 yards. Quarterback, Andrew Price was 5-13 for 42 yards. The biggest weapon for the winners was Evan Stephens, who ran the ball for 173 yards on 25 carries good for 1 touchdown. Tyler Short had a 35-yard field goal for the game’s first score. Over all Casey County ran 43 plays for a total of 215 yards.
