CSP slowly pulled away in this contest with stout defense and a potent offense.
A very good only going to get better Bryce Hinsdale made a 15-yard catch for the games first score he then followed that up with the point-after kick to give CSP the 7-0 lead with 8:47 left in the opening quarter. CSP would go up 13-0 when quarterback Tate Catanese sprinted to the 41-yard score with 6:47 still left in the quarter.
The Cardinals would put together what turned out to be their first and only scoring drive that was captivated by a Maverick Adams 1-yard plunge for the score. He would add the point after kick making this a 13-7 game just seven seconds into the second quarter.
Hinsdale would put CSP up 16-7 on his 24-yard field goal with 9:53 left in the half. Catanese would use his feet again to go 2-yards for another CSP score that was followed up by a two-point conversion pass from Catanese to Carter Brink making this a 24- 7 game with 1:12 left in the half.
The final score of the game came on a 2-yard run from Bryce Posker who powered his way in for the score making this a 31-7 game.
Coach Ty Harper from CSP had only good things to say about Randolph after the game and praised what a well-coached tough team they always are.
