Columbus Crusaders turn back Osceola Grace Eagles 15-8

This was a defensive battle that featured some hard-hitting blocks, and big-time hits, with just a little scoring making it a very entertaining game for the 250 fans or so that were there to take it in. A 28-yard field goal off of the strong foot of Maurice Diawara put Columbus up 3-0 with 4:04 left in the opening quarter.

The third quarter would see Columbus take a 15-0 lead with Jackson Debolt finding pay dirt on a short run and then it was a 24-yard touchdown run by Jericho Etok.

The Eagles were able to avoid the shutout when Liam Elkins connected with Jackson Colvin for a 4-yard score and then a two-point pass from Elkins to Harrison Colvin to make the final score 15-8.
