Flag football wrap up, OLSH, North Hills, Palisades

This is something new for us and we are going to do this throughout the remainder of the school year. Welcome to Girls Flag recap on PFN. Just a few mentions this week but we’d like to make this a bigger feature. Please feel free to email a score and recap and we’ll feature your teams as well! North Hills pulled off a 55-7 win vs Seneca Valley after taking down South Fayatte 39-24. It was33- 6 after first quarter v SF and starters were pulled. Lead the way by sophomore starting quarterback Emerson Schall with 5 passing tds and punt return td…  Senior Center Sofia Rodriguez had 4 rec tds and one pick six. Megan Holmes also chipped in with 1 receiving TD. Defense was Lead by Senior Dancia Dolecki with 7 tackles.

OLSH lost to Keystone Oaks 34-20. In the loss Shae Trombetta had 1 TD as did Natalie Turcios and Ashlynn Johnson.  Natalie Turcios had a 2 PT conversion and Katie McCullough had 1 INT.

Ambridge defeated OLSH 27-12 this week. Jordyn Velmire had 2 Receiving TDs, Lola Garner – 2 Passing TDs and she got an interception while playing defense. Shae Trombetta – 1 INT on defense and Jules Goshen – 1 sack.
Palisades is 2-0 with wins over Boyertown (13-6) and Perkiomen Valley (14-0)
In two games QB Iseballa Carson went 32-64 for 287 yards with 1TD and 1 INT, RB Sav Monninghoff had  10 carries for 62 yards. WR Sadie Chilton hauled in 8 receptions for 88 Yards and DB Jane Salva got 10 Flag Pulls to o along with 3 pass breakups and 1 INT.

The Pennsbury Falcons won their home opener over CR South by a 34-0 count. Corine Capriotti led with 3TDs, 4 flag pulls and a pick. Bella Stewart caught a td from Allie Fouss and had an int. Allie Fouss threw for 3 tds including 1 to Sydney Becker and Kaley Demott pulled 5 flags at her lb spot. The Falcons moved to 5-0 with a 20-0 win over Harry S. Truman. Corine Capriotti with a TD rushing and receiving. and Sydney Becker caught the other TD pass. Falcons forced 3 turnovers.

In a battle of undefeated PCL teams, Conwell-Egan topped Archbishop Wood 20-18.
