Fort Wayne Snider Panthers de-claw Decatur Central Hawks en route to their third state title by a 33-6 score.

The Hawks would take the early lead at 3-0 on an Ashton Vogel 35-yard field goal with 1:43 left in the opening quarter. The quarter would see the Panthers outgained the Hawks by 91-29 total yards, with both teams running eleven plays. N’po Dodo led the Hawks with 23 rushing yards, while Uriah Buchanan led the Panthers with 20 rushing yards.

Buchanan would show off his speed at the 9:57 mark of the second quarter when he raced for an 80-yard touchdown run, after Chase Wennemar was true on his point after kick; we had a 7-3 game.

The Hawks would get another field goal from Vogel, this one from 41 yards, to make this a 7-6 game with 5 minutes left in the half.

In the second quarter, the Panthers would put up 120 yards while giving up just 39, as they had slowly started to take the game over. Buchanan would lead the way with 84 yards.

Mang Tung would show off his kicking skills with a 47-yard field goal, making this a 10-6 game with 8:34 left in the half. Another field goal, this one from Wennemar from 18 yards, would make this a 13-6 game with 1:43 left on the third quarter clock.

The Panthers would score 20 unanswered points in the final frame to close out the game. Buchanan rushed up the middle for a 95-yard touchdown, then it was a Keron Billingsley 16-yard touchdown run followed up by a Billingsley to Buchanan 26-yard touchdown pass.

Uriah Buchanan would rush for a total of 237 yards on 23 carries.

Lukas Rohrbacher led the Panthers defense with 13 total tackles.

For the Hawks, Halbert Aguirre totaled 10 tackles.
