Early in this one, it was mostly Adams central as they twice led by fourteen points but Lutheran would regroup at the half and come back out and show the large crowd why they were undefeated on the season as they slowly battled tying things up after three-quarters of play. The winning score came with just 1:13 left in the contest. This would be the first state title for the Indianapolis school and the first for head coach Dave Pasch.
Blake Heyerly would score three times for Adams Central He would tot the ball eighteen times, pick up fifty-three hard yards to go along with his three touchdowns. He also had seven total tackles to complete his day. Nick Neunschwander set a Class-A record with a 59-yard punt return for a touchdown. He also picked up 74-yards on eight carries. Gavin Cook led the defense with ten tackles. Adams Central ends the 2021 season with a 13-2 record
For the winning Saints, Montasi Clay had the game-winning touchdown to go along with 243 passing yards on 15-22 passing. with three touchdowns and one pick. He also rushed for 47-yards rushing along with the one big rushing score. Micah Mackay had four catches for 14-yards and two touchdowns. Jake Pasch led the receivers with six catches with one touchdown. Cur’Brian Shelby had a game-high eleven tackles. The Champs finish 15-0 on the 2021 season.
