Kansas 6-man Spotlight: Otis-Bison 27, Pawnee Heights 6 (PHOTO GALLERY)

On Friday night in central Kansas, small town football was alive and well. The town of Rozel was hosting homecoming for their local school: Pawnee Heights. Who were hosting Otis-Bison, a short 45 minute drive away. SJN Bank of Kansas sponsored free admission for homecoming, giving the game a fevered, large crowd to cheer on their squads.
The game started with decent weather. Cloudy, breezy, and warm. And then turned by halftime. As a large storm system rolled across the area just north of the field. Abruptly ending the game at halftime.
With the forecast for lightning not looking any better over the next few hours, the decision was made to call them game with the halftime score being final. Pawnee Heights takes their first loss of the season and falls to 2-1. While Otis-Bison gets their second win, with a 2-1 record.
