
Kentucky Spotlight: Eminence Alumni Bowl

Grant County 33, Louisville Waggener 12
The Eminence Alumni Bowl kicked off Saturday afternoon in northern Kentucky. In the early game, the Grant County Braves took on the Waggener Wildcats. Cameron Duncan commanded the offense for Grant County, going up two scores and holding off a resilient, determined Waggener squad. Duncan scored first, while Wyatt Hucker caught a 20 yard TD pass from Duncan. Jemal Wremeo scored the first of his two touchdowns for Waggener from 24 yards out in the first half. In the second half, Bryson Webster extended the lead on a 2 yard run. Before Wremeo’s second score from 61 yards out on a pass reception. Webster added his second score of the game in the fourth to strengthen the Grant County lead. While Ethan Fanin iced the game recovering an offensive fumble in the endzone for the final score of the game.
Eminence 33, Bellevue 14
Jordan Pendleton starts the scoring returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Scoring again later in the first quarter for the Bellevue Tigers. Eminence answers the first score on a first play from scrimmage 57 yard run by Jarren Beverly. Blaze Berry closes out the scoring on the first half to go up 19-12. In the second half, Eminence adds two more scores to close out the game with a 33-14 win.
