Kiski Prep went on the road Saturday o Hightstown, NJ to face the Peddie School Falcons. The Cougars were 1-2 coming into the contest, having lost their prior two home games by a total margin of only 5 points.  QB Jaivin Peel (Georgetown, PA) got Kiski on the board early with a beautiful 87-yard TD strike to WR Elijah White (New York, NY). The extra point was missed, but Kiski was up 6-0.  Kiski’s defense stopped Peddie the entire first half, and running backs Max McMillan (Paramus, NJ) and Levi Porter (Indiana, PA) would add touchdown runs of 6 and 22 yards in the second quarter. Extra point kicks by Lewin Tauberschmidt (Rosengarten, Germany) put the Cougars up 20-0 at the half.

McMillan would score again on the ground in the 3rd quarter on a 6-yard TD run.  Peddie showed some fight, clawing the score back to 27-14 on several long passing plays and some nice runs by do-it-all RB Jeremiah Davis.  However, Kiski would create several critical turnovers in the closing period to lock down the win, 27-14. Kiski is now 2-2 and will again go on the road next Saturday to face the William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia PA.

Peel closed the afternoon with an efficient 8 completions on 10 pass attempts for 140 yards and one passing TD.  Kiski’s running back committee of Porter, McMillan, and Mason Jones (Lower Burrell, PA) churned out a total of 166 yards on the ground. CB Elan McCrorey (Plainsboro, NJ) grabbed an interception for Kiski, while CB Elijah White finished the day with 2 INTs for Kiski.
